  8. These files represent low detail models of the two types of fission
  9. weapons. Abomb represents the 'Tube Alloy' Gun weapon, nicknamed
  10. 'The Gadget' by the leader of it's creation team, Dr. Robert Oppenhiemer
  11. and refered to by the American Press, after the fact as 'Little Boy'
  12. This weapon was never field tested before being used against the city
  13. of Hiroshima,Japan, Aug 6 1945. This weapon was dropped by B29 #82,Tinnian,
  14. the 'Enola Gay', Paul Tibbets Comm.

  30. Abomb1 represents the Implosion Device, 'Fat Man' field tested at Trinity,
  31. and used against the city of Nagasaki, Japan Aug 9 1945.  Nagasaki was 
  32. not the primary target but was chosen in flight, after the flight encounterd
  33. poor weather conditions over Kokura Arsenal,Kyshu.
  34.  It was dropped by B29 #74 'Bocks Car' Fredrick Bock, Comm.
